Heather Antoine’s practice is focused on the intersection
between Internet law and intellectual property. Heather is primarily a
litigator, handling trademark/copyright infringement matters, defamation and
Section 230 defense, domain disputes, and privacy torts. She also counsels
companies on setting up and maintaining their IP portfolios, privacy and FTC
Heather is a regular speaker on hot topics in Internet law, technology, cyber security, and IP law. She has been named a Super Lawyer Rising Star and Top Attorney. Heather is currently serving on the California State Bar Intellectual Property Section's Executive Committee and as Vice-Chair of the Technology, Internet, and Privacy Interest Group.
Heather obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy and World Affairs with a concentration in the comparative studies of Africa and the Middle East from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. She also received a minor in Women’s Studies and Gender Studies. She received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier School of Law in Costa Mesa, California, where she was a recipient of a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and a Public Interest Law Foundation Grant. While in law school, Heather was an active member and President of the Trial Advocacy Honors Board. Heather also received a certificate in International and Comparative Law.
Heather has experience in a broad range of matters. She has litigated cases in state and federal court and before the California Court of Appeal. She has successfully handled trials, arbitrations, and mediations, as well as hundreds of depositions and law and motion hearings.
